The Salinas & Pájaro Valleys Small Business Initiative was developed to support our region as a place where cultural diversity and equal access to economic opportunity is represented in the small business sector. Entrepreneurs and small business owners are important in our regional economy. They are also leaders in our communities. ALBA works with El Pajaro Community Development Corporation, and the Salinas United Business Association on capacity building for food-related business needs. Together we provide business education, business incubation and assistance, and policy education and advocacy to support thriving communities that value and nurture human, natural, social, and political capital.
